Grandparenting

Grandparenting has turned out to be such a precarious thing ... living so far away from a grandson with so many issues. I treasure the time I get to spend with him, and wish I could be with him more. My co-workers talk about spending weekends with their grandchildren, and I envy them. With my family scattered so far across the country it is hard to spend as much time as I'd like with my kids and their families. Being so far part means I appreciate even more the time I get to share with them, but I feel like I'm wishing my life away, looking forward to the next visit ...
